Venture Trip 24

Venture Trip 24 is open to students and faculty of Celebration High School only. The focus of this venture trip will be to build a home for Yocasta and her family. We will also participate in community advocacy, educational programs, jewelry design, health care initiatives and much more! This trip is a hands-on opportunity to impact the lives of our women and children who are victims of human trafficking and domestic violence in the Dominican Republic.

The total trip cost does not include domestic or international airfare. Included within in-country costs is lodging, meals, water, ground transportation, security, translators, medical coverage (up to $100), and welcome package materials. Please note: flights are NOT included in the trip price and the deposit is non-refundable.

Terms of Agreement
Once this form is submitted you will receive an email to schedule an interview with a BRP team member. Upon acceptance you will receive an email with confirmation of space availability. If space is available, a $150 deposit fee is due within 48 HRS to secure your spot on the venture trip. This fee is included in the overall cost of the trip. It is non-refundable and nontransferable. Donations given on your behalf are tax deductible.

Applicant is responsible for the entire trip. Fundraising is all part of this amazing journey and BRP offers a crowdfunding platform account for each volunteer traveling upon a venture trip. There is a fixed 7% fee attached to all donations that are received through this platform as we do not cover credit card fees and admin fees attached to each online donation. Any amount that is raised above your trip cost cannot be reimbursed to the volunteer. This amount will be used towards projects that the venture team will participate in upon their trip. No refunds are allowed or available for any funds raised by an applicant.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing and emailed to travel@thebrp.org. The Batey Rehab Project cannot refund any payments. However, trip participants who cancel more than 60 days prior to their trip departure date may apply their payments (excluding the $150 deposit) towards another trip, provided the trip occurs within 12 months of the cancellation date. Any forfeited payments will be treated as a tax deductible gift to the Batey Rehab Project Inc.

15 days prior to your trip you will receive a detailed packet with all trip information and a welcome package will be waiting for you upon your arrival.

Fees must be paid online, fundraised or mailed in by the due dates in order for the participant to remain on the venture trip.
