Hola, my name is Erica and I am 19 years old. I graduated high school this year and started University in the fall. When I was 13 years old, BRP built a home for me and my family. After they finished my home, they continued to help me and my family. My sister is Rosaura and we are pretty much inseparable. I was one of the very first participants in BRP's new initiative to assist at risk women and girls. The past 3 years I have focused on my education and participation in the programs at BRP. Now that I have started college, I will also be transitioning to an employee position at Batey Girls as product manager. I have big dreams and I want to be a fashion or jewelry designer. I also want to help my family and secure a safe and healthy future for my younger siblings. I am the oldest of 5 siblings. Over the past 7 years my life has changed dramatically and I am so proud of the young women I have become. I have overcome many circumstances and I am excited to see what the future holds.
