Our nutrition program provides the food necessary for the health and growth of our women and children. Your monthly sponsorship provides two meals a day. With a quarterly menu, the participants not only learn how to cook but how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Participants enjoy home cooked food, with an emphasis on fresh fruits, vegetables and quality protein.

Our education program provides access and funding to schooling for each child within the public and private sector, opening their minds to the joy of learning. We provide access and funding to higher education and university programs to all of our women and girls. Alongside these programs, additional educational support is provided, which includes private tutors, private classes, vocational classes, English classes and high school diploma courses.

Our health and hygiene program provides private medical care for each participant. Covering all major and minor medical expenses, this program focuses on creating preventative care and on-going health. Participants have access to private clinics, birth control, prescription medications, OBGYN care, vaccinations, and any additional medical needs such as surgical care. Participants are monitored closely by on-site trained medical staff and receive the highest level of care.

Our mental health program provides a trauma-informed approach to care, with the overarching goal to improve health and safety during their recovery. The core components of this program include meeting basic needs, building trust and rapport, being conscious of language, remaining sensitive to power dynamics, and avoiding re-traumatization. Counseling services are available to participants at all levels and will continue even after they have completed the program.

Our emergency shelter program provides a short-term living solution for victims who need immediate and on-going protection and shelter. This program provides accommodation, food and access to all basic necessities, for women and their children. As 1 of 2 human trafficking shelters in the entire country, we also serve as an emergency 24-72hr women’s shelter for all victims of human trafficking cases that are actively being prosecuted through the local magistrate. Police protection is provided onsite as well as any victim services needed to respond within the 72hr time period.

Why Sponsor HER?
Through our program, mothers like Yocasta have found freedom, love and happiness. By supporting mothers, they can then support their children, which enables us to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty, two generations at a time. This young mother of four has not only transformed her life, but the lives of her children. They will be the first generation of her family to grow up in a home free of poverty, violence, sexual abuse and trafficking.
